SIMA Texfair 2019 brought the textile industry together once again at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore. Organized by the Southern India Mills’ Association (SIMA), the four-day exhibition was a showcase of machinery, technology, and ideas shaping the future of Indian textiles.
For JB Ecotex, it was an opportunity to connect with mill owners, technologists, and manufacturers who are driving modernization across spinning and processing. Our focus on recycled polyester fibre and polyester staple fibre resonated with the event’s spirit of innovation and cost efficiency.
With over 250 exhibitors and nearly one lakh visitors, Texfair 2019 reflected the strength of South India’s textile ecosystem. The concurrent Farm to Finish Expo highlighted the complete value chain, from raw fibre to finished fabric, encouraging meaningful conversations on sustainable production and local capacity building.
