The Yarn, Fabric & Accessories Trade Show 2019 in Ludhiana brought together an energetic mix of textile manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers from across India. For JB Ecotex, it was an opportunity to connect directly with the heart of North India’s knitting and garment industry, where innovation meets craftsmanship.
Our discussions revolved around sustainable sourcing and the growing shift toward recycled polyester fibre and polyester staple fibre in yarn production. The event showcased the diversity of India’s textile ecosystem from yarn blends and knitted fabrics to trims and accessories—and reflected the industry’s increasing openness to eco-friendly materials.
Being part of the Ludhiana edition allowed us to understand regional textile needs more closely and strengthen partnerships that continue to support the move toward cleaner, circular manufacturing in India’s apparel sector.
