Recycled Polyester Staple Fibre (RPSF) is an eco-friendly, sustainable material made by repurposing post-consumer PET bottles. After being cleaned and processed, this recycled material is spun into short fibres, which are then used to create nonwoven fabrics. Recycled nonwoven polyester fibre is widely utilised in industries like automotive, hygiene products, medical textiles, filtration materials, and geotextiles due to its high performance, durability, and cost-efficiency.
RPSF can be tailored to meet the specific needs of different industries. The fibers can be customised in terms of length, crimp, and denier, allowing manufacturers to produce sustainable nonwoven materials with varying densities, textures, and properties. As a non-woven fibre manufacturer, we can make these recycled polyester staple fibres with Fire Retardant (FR) properties also, thereby supplying flame-retardant non-woven fibre.
Request high-performance RPSF samples for hygiene products, medical textiles, filtration, and automotive nonwovens.
The most significant advantage of recycled polyester fibre (rPSF) is its sustainability. By using recycled polyester staple fibre for interlining, the interlining industry can significantly reduce its dependence on virgin petroleum-based resources. RPSF can be produced in various deniers, lengths, and finishes, making it suitable for different types of interlining industries. Whether used for collars, cuffs, or waistbands, RPSF interlining maintains a garment's shape over time, ensuring it looks crisp and professional.
This recycled polyester staple fibre is made specifically for interlining industry. Specially produced in crunchy and double crunchy properties for soft and harsh feel as per the requirement.
Request RPSF samples for collars, cuffs, waistbands, and tailored interlining fabrics with durability and crisp finishing.

Biyo is a biodegradable polyester fibre embedded with CiCLO® technology, manufactured using post-consumer waste PET bottles at JB Ecotex Surat, India. It is designed to reduce plastic pollution caused by microfibers released from synthetic garments. It mimics natural biodegradation by enabling microbes to break down the microfiber under specific environmental conditions like seawater, soil, landfill, and wastewater settings. It helps brands cut synthetic microplastic-led pollution in these conditions.
Permanent CiCLO® additives trigger biodegradation in diverse environments
Maintains the performance of conventional polyester throughout garment life
Compatible with recycled and virgin PET routes
Supports sustainable yarn programs seeking measurable environmental impact
Recycled PET route (100 percent post-consumer, GRS-certified)
Virgin PET route
Blends with cotton, viscose, modal, and synthetic fibers, enabling hybrid fabrics that balance biodegradability with stretch or moisture management.
CiCLO® additives are embedded during melt spinning, creating pathways that let naturally occurring microbes digest the polymer under suitable conditions. The process does not alter dye behaviour or mechanical properties.
Biyo helps curb microfiber pollution by breaking down shed fibres that reach marine or soil ecosystems, supporting extended producer responsibility goals.

JB Ecotex’s EF-R is an inherent flame-retardant staple fibre spun entirely from post-consumer PET bottles. A phosphorus-based additive is locked into the polymer during melt spinning, so the fibre remains permanently self-extinguishing without the need for extra coatings or finishes. Supplied from Surat, India, EF-R provides reliable flame resistance, high strength, and a lower environmental footprint for mills that need recycled FR polyester.
Phosphorus content – 6,800 ± 200 ppm for lasting fire performance
Limiting Oxygen Index > 35 percent, self-extinguishing in open air
Tenacity 5.8 ± 0.4 GPD, durable in heavy-duty applications
Dyeing guideline – 130 °C for 30–45 minutes (grey-white)
Certifications: GRS, OEKO-TEX® Class I, ISO-audited production
Recycled polymer route – 100 percent post-consumer PET bottles
Grey-white FR fiber – natural tone for conventional dyeing
Dope-dyed black FR fiber – deep shade infused at polymer stage, eliminates post-dyeing
EF-R runs on standard polyester staple fiber lines. When blending or finishing, avoid oils, waxes, silicone, paraffin, or combustible binders that can mask inherent FR performance. Always pre-test before and after applying any chemical finish to confirm LOI, vertical burn after treatment.
The phosphorus additive is infused directly into molten polyester, creating a uniform inherent FR matrix. Because the chemistry is intrinsic, EF-R maintains flame-retardant performance through washing, abrasion, and re-processing, unlike surface-coated alternatives.
EF-R uses waste PET bottles, enabling the making of high-value flame-safe textiles, cutting carbon, water, and energy demand versus virgin FR polyester and keeping plastic out of landfills and oceans.
Home textiles - curtains, upholstery, mattress covers, recycled FR wadding
Transport interiors - automotive seat padding, roof liners, aircraft curtains
Technical nonwovens - acoustic insulation, FR filtration, protective linings
Public interiors - office partitions, theatre seating, wall panels, sound boards
